Huntley High School Newscast | RNN SEASON 6 EPISODE 1

Good Morning Huntley High School! Welcome to another newscast of Raider Nation News!

First, we have an announcement about Medical Academy applications. Applications for current sophomores and juniors will open on October 1st. All you have to do is follow the directions on the HHS Medical Academy page on the Huntley High School website.

This year’s homecoming theme was a night under the stars and it was truly a night to remember. After all, it was our first outdoor homecoming. It was also our first dance since the pandemic started allowing students to reconnect with peers and begin fall with a bang! On that note, the much awaited surprise of the night turned out to be a spectacular fireworks show. Although some of the fireworks were blocked by the tents, students still managed to get a good view. Overall the night was great.

RNN went speed dating with the different clubs around HHS to get a sneak peak and learn more about them. If you are interested in any of these clubs contact the members or attend their club meetings for more information.

Times have been tough, now more than ever. We here at Huntley have resources for you that we wanted to highlight during September which is National Suicide Prevention month.
