Good Morning Huntley High School! Welcome to another newscast of Raider Nation News!


Senior Captain Kimberlynn Bjurstrom took home two 1st Place finishes in Original Oratory and Prose. Sophomore Ava Burns finished in 5th place in Original Oratory and Sophomore Abby Edelstein finished in 6th place in Poetry.


The Bosch Community Fund is continuing its generous support of the Red Raiders competitive VEX Robotics team for the 5th year. The team received a $10,285 grant which will fund equipment and materials to support 50+ students participating on our competitive and intramural teams for the 2021-22 season.


On Saturday, Boys Soccer won their Sectional Final against Elgin in a shootout! They fell short in the super sectional on Wednesday, but still made school history. GREAT season, guys.


The Raiders beat St. Charles East last Thursday in the first round of sectional last week and (pause) in the sectional championship game.


The girls swim team are FVC Conference Champs!


The girls XC varsity team finished 6th at the Lake Park Sectional and the team is headed to state. Huge congrats to Beanna Burak who finished 8th place, earning All-Sectional Honors - the 2nd Huntley girl to earn this honor.


The boys team finished 8th at the sectional and Freshman Tommy Nitz qualified for State! Tommy is the 2nd Huntley freshman to qualify as an individual to class 3A state.
