When using our platform, you join and interact with people all around the Huntley community. Every cool, new community feature on our platform involves a certain level of trust. Thousands of users respect that trust and we trust you to be responsible too. Following the guidelines below helps to keep RNN fun and enjoyable for everyone. 

You might not like everything you see on RNN. If you come upon any accounts, videos, or comments that violate our guidelines, please contact RNN support to submit it for review by our RNN staff. Our staff carefully review flagged feedback to determine whether it's a violation of our community guidelines.  

Here are some common-sense rules that'll help you steer clear of trouble. Please take these rules seriously and take them to the heart. Don't try to look for loopholes or try to lawyer your way around the guidelines, just understand them and try to respect the spirit in which they were created. 

Hate

Our website is a platform for free expression, but we don't support those who promote or condones violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, caste, sexual orientation, or gender identity, or content that incites hatred on the basis of these core characteristics.

Harassment & Cyberbullying

It’s not ok to post abusive content on our platform. If harassment crosses the line into a malicious attack, it will be reported to the district office immediately. In other cases, users may be mildly annoying or petty and should be ignored. 

Threats

Things like predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, intimidation, invading privacy, revealing other people's personal information, and inciting others to commit violent acts or to violate the Terms of Use are taken very seriously. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from using our platform.

Sexual Content

RNN is not meant for pornography or sexually explicit content. If this describes your story, even if it's a story of yourself, then please don't post it to us, or anywhere else. Also, be advised that we work closely with the district office.

Harmful or dangerous content

We don't allow stories that encourage others to do things that might cause them to get badly hurt, especially kids. Videos showing such harmful or dangerous acts may get age-restricted or removed depending on their severity.

Spams & Scams

Everyone hates spam. We do not allow spam, or any misleading information to be presented on our platform. It's not okay to spread large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content.  

Impersonation

Accounts that are established to impersonate another brand or individual may be removed under our impersonation policy.

Privacy

We're all about privacy, but if someone else has posted your personal information, let us know by contacting RNN support for a removal.

Child Safety

We don't allow content that endangers the emotional and physical well-being of minors. A minor is defined as someone under the legal age of majority -- usually anyone younger than 18 years old in most countries/regions. Also, be advised that we work closely with the district office.

Violent or graphic content

We don't allow violent or gory content that's primarily intended to be shocking, sensational, or gratuitous. If it is part of a news story, then please be mindful to provide enough information to help people understand what's going on in the video. Don't encourage others to commit specific acts of violence.

In-active account policy

In general, users are expected to be active members within the Huntley community. If an account is found to be overly inactive, the account may be reclaimed by us without notice. Inactivity may be considered as:

- Not signing in for at least six months 

​

- Never having submitting stories

​

- Not actively partaking in watching or commenting on videos or channels.

If a students on- and/or off-platform behavior harms our users, community, staffs or ecosystem, we may respond based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the egregiousness of their actions and whether a pattern of harmful behavior exists.
Our response will range from suspending a student’s privileges to account termination.
